HOW TO MAKE A NATURAL ZERO WASTE HAND SANITISER/SANITIZER

So today I thought I would give you an example of how you can make a natural zero waste hand sanitiser without any of the nasties.

This recipe can also be found as a video tutorial here: https://youtu.be/w-N8tJSA-oQ

What you will need:

3 tbsp Aloe Vera (this is such a lovely and gentle base for many natural homemade products)

1 tbsp Witch hazel (a natural astringent, antiviral and antibacterial)

1 tsp Apricot kernel oil (this is anti-inflammatory, and gentle on skin)

10 drops tea tree essential oil (antibacterial, antimicrobial and antifungal)

6 drops lemon essential oil (antibacterial and antimicrobial)

Method:

Add the Aloe Vera, witch hazel and apricot kernel oil to a jug or bowl and mix well until it forms a consistency similar to the thickness of wallpaper paste (you can make a runnier mixture by adding extra witch hazel).

Then add the essential oils and mix again.

Put into a pump bottle and use.
